Job Description
The Compliance Operations (C-Ops) division bears the responsibility of ensuring that Amazon’s transactions adhere to legal and safety requisites across its global marketplaces, adhering strictly to established guidelines. The team actively identifies risks associated with conducting business in diverse countries and facilitates the seamless movement of products across international borders. As a Senior Compliance Associate, your primary duty lies in safeguarding Amazon’s customers from illegal, hazardous, unsafe, or otherwise prohibited/regulated products in accordance with the law and Amazon’s policies. Additionally, you may be engaged in defining, implementing, and defending regulatory policies and contractual requirements.
Skills
• Proficiency in both articulate and penned communication in English.
• A sound working knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook, and an added advantage of being adept in MS Excel.
• Exemplary attention to detail.
• The ability to analyze and discern patterns in vast data sets.
• Aptitude for making informed decisions based on provided guidelines and within ambiguous contexts.
• Comfortable working with extensive data sets.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in internet navigation and research to efficiently find specific information about products.
Key Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Compliance Associate, your responsibilities encompass the following:
• Identifying violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures and recommending the initiation of investigative and corrective measures.
• Categorizing products based on standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Adhering to SOP and adhering to instructions provided by managers.
• Proposing process improvements to enhance process efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
• Providing guidance to stakeholders and promptly notifying them of any updates to Lead/Manager.
Qualifiers for the Role:
• Any graduate and above (excluding Diploma).
• Office-based opportunity (No WFH or Hybrid model).
