Amazon Testing Associate
A Device Associate (DA) is primarily responsible for executing test case instructions and reporting any discrepancies. The DA also plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful and timely delivery of results.
Key Responsibilities of Testing Associate
- Test Execution: Execute test cases for software builds on the Fire OS platform and Fire OS products.
- Bug Reporting: Accurately report bugs encountered during test case execution.
- Familiarity with Testing Procedures: Understand testing procedures and guidelines for new builds/releases.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression and repetitive testing exercises to qualify builds without compromising on quality.
- Data Capture: Utilize software tools for daily data capture.
- Results Communication: Capture results, communicate and escalate failures, and provide individual status reports.
- Clarification Portal: Raise all failures/doubts related to test case execution in the clarification portal and ensure timely resolution according to SLA’s.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in testing consumer devices is a plus.
- A preferred qualification is a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (B.E. or M.S.).
Basic Qualifications:
- Graduate or equivalent technical education and work experience.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
- Ability to understand and execute test cases.
- Comfortable with cross-functional and management-level communication in both formal and informal settings.
- Strong organizational skills to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results.
- Excellent communication skills.
