Job Description: Digital Operations Trainee
Position Overview: The Digital Operations Trainee plays a vital role in the Digital Item Lifecycle teams, which are responsible for adding numerous new items to websites on a weekly basis. As a Trainee in Digital Operations, your primary objective is to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience by effectively executing the online merchandising and product information strategy for multiple business categories. This entails ensuring that category merchandising aligns with the site merchandising strategy for the assigned areas of business. Additionally, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely setup and production of all products and assortments.

As a Trainee in Digital Operations, you will have the following responsibilities:
Ownership of designated categories of business:
- Goal of achieving all accuracy targets.
- Maintaining/decreasing the NOS (Not on Site) inventory.
- Ensuring compliance with Go Live dates and Time to site SLAs (Service Level Agreements) for the respective areas.
Product categorization:
- Ensuring all products are placed in all relevant categories on the site to optimize selling.
Item setup, categorization, and brand merchandising:
- Properly setting up all new items.
- Defining where items should be assorted in appropriate web folders for optimal exposure.
- Ensuring items are published on time.
- Delaying items that are not validated.
- Handling the resolution process for quality center defects and items not on site in the Warehouse.
- Identifying process and/or system inefficiencies on a regular basis.
- Sending items for select vendor approval.
Quality assurance and sign-off:
- Daily sign-off on website publication.
- Ensuring thorough quality assurance of designated categories of responsibility and any featured products.
Training and documentation:
- Developing training materials and product guides as needed.
- Thoroughly documenting all processes and procedures.
Collaboration with Site Operations:
- Partnering with Site Operations on process efficiencies for optimal and improved refinement automation.
As the Trainee, You Will Need:
To be eligible for this Trainee position in Digital Operations, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Understanding of the retail e-commerce landscape.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
