Microsoft Rehire Policy

Employees who have left Microsoft in good standing are eligible for rehire.

Employees who were terminated for reasons related to performance, policy violations, or misconduct are generally not eligible for rehire.

Employees who voluntarily left the company and provided two weeks' notice are generally eligible for rehire.

Employees who resigned without providing two weeks' notice may be considered for rehire on a case-by-case basis.

 Employees who were laid off due to company restructuring or downsizing are eligible for rehire.

Employees who were laid off due to performance-related reasons or misconduct are generally not eligible for rehire.

Employees who left the company to pursue other opportunities and wish to return must apply for open positions through the regular hiring process.

Former employees who are rehired are subject to the same hiring process and standards as new candidates.
